The Gilbert Sandler Fund for Speech and Debate at City College (501c3)
The Baltimore City College Speech and Debate team has a long and proud tradition, dating back to 1876 with the establishment of the Bancroft/Carrolton-Wright Literary Societies. City College competes in speech and debate at the highest level, including the Baltimore Urban Debate League (BUDL), the Baltimore Catholic Forensics League (BCFL), Harvard University, and the Kentucky Tournament of Champions. The Gilbert Sandler Fund for Speech and Debate at City College will ensure that students have the opportunity to participate in the rigorous and rewarding discipline of debate for generations to come.
