The Baltimore City College Drama Club is presenting two fall student-directed productions this month:
 
First, the heartfelt dramedy Steel Magnolias by Robert Harling will be performed Thursday, December 5th at 6:00, Friday, December 6th at 3:00, and Saturday, December 7th at 6:00.
 
Second, the medley of magical love stories Almost, Maine by John Carini will be performed  Thursday, December 12th at 6:00, Friday, December 13th at 3:00, and Saturday, December 14th at 6:00.  
 
All performances are in the BCC Black Box Theatre and tickets are $3 for students and $5 for adults. Email Mr. Alan Rosenberg, Drama Club Director, at alan.rosenberg@baltimorecitycollege.us to reserve your tickets to these two memorable shows!

We're Hiring!

Baltimore City College seeks a Math teacher for the 2025-26 school year.

 

The ideal candidate is one who:

• Has strong coursework (graduate level preferred) in Math

• Is passionate about math and learning

• Is familiar with current research, trends, best practices and pedagogy

• Demonstrates an interest in ongoing professional development

• Understands and loves working with high school aged students.

• Has experience with the International Baccalaureate Program

• Is committed to and interested in working in a diverse, multi-cultural environment.

• Demonstrates commitment to working collaboratively with colleagues

• Is comfortable working with technology

• Specifically, the candidate will be comfortable teaching Calculus-based Math

• Experience teaching advanced level courses i.e. AP, IB, Cambridge welcome.  

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • BA/BS in Math or related field (Masters or higher preferred) 

  • Hold or be eligible for MSDE Certification 

  • Experience teaching/coaching/tutoring/mentoring high school students
