2022 Summer Math Work Assignments
Required Summer Math Work Assignments
Students in all grades will be required to complete summer math work assignments. The assignments will serve to help students stay abreast of the important foundational and prerequisite skills needed for their mathematics class in the Fall. Completion of the assignments is mandatory and the topics covered will be assessed on first quarter summative assessments.
Each assignment is posted in Khan Academy. Access to the Khan assignments will open on Wednesday, June 15, 2022. Students are required to enroll into their designated Khan Academy class using their Baltimore City College Google account and complete the assigned quizzes and tests, which are required formative assessments. Links to the accompanying tutorial videos and practice problem sets are provided. If students need additional assistance with completing their assignments, office hours will be available by appointment only. Students seeking assistance must complete a Summer Math Assistance Request Form. The last day to submit a Summer Math Assistance Request Form is Friday, July 29, 2022 at 12 noon.
For further clarification and guidance, students should email Ms. Moore, the mathematics department chairperson, at email@example.com.
