Baltimore City College authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization as official Middle Years Program School
IB has authorized W.C. March Middle to offer levels 1,2, and 3 (grades 6,7,and 8) of the IB Middle Years Program and Baltimore City College has been authorized to offer levels 4 and 5 (grades 9 and 10). Congratulations to the coordinators, students, teachers, parents and alumni that have worked on this venture for the past four years. City Forever! |

City College named top high school by Baltimore Magazine
In the September 2010 issue of Batlimore magazine, City College was named "Best School for Future Diplomats." City's International Baccalaureate program in grades 9 through 12 gives students "rigorous training to improve students' creative thinking, with an empahasis on languages, international cultures, the arts, and serivce. |

Each year, Newsweek picks the best high schools in the country based on how hard schools work to challenge students with advanced placement and college-level courses and tests. Just over 1600 schools— only six percent of all the public schools in the U.S.--made the list. |
